Daryn Diaz

Daryn is an experienced attorney who has limited her practice to defending workers' compensation claims for more than 25 years in Southern California. She has extensive experience litigating complex claims for both self-insured and insured employers. As the result, Daryn is thoroughly familiar with Southern California WCABs from Oxnard to San Diego, particularly the boards in Los Angeles County, Inland Empire, and Orange County.

Prior to becoming a defense attorney, Daryn was a claims adjuster for 5 years at State Compensation Insurance Fund where she gained invaluable experience in the handling of all aspects of workers' compensation claims.

Daryn is an avid advocate for rescue animals having volunteered over the years at Pasadena Humane Society, The Cat Posse, and most recently Dream Team for Pets. During her time off, Daryn volunteers in Altadena at the Eaton Canyon fire burn zones where she and team members set up and maintain camera monitored food stations for displaced pets as well as "dummy" food stations for wildlife which may otherwise jeopardize the displaced pets.
