Michael D. Hansen

Mike, a San Diego native, began his academic journey close to home, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine in 2011. Following a stint at a local golf repair shop, he returned to pursue his passion for law at California Western School of Law, graduating Cum Laude with a Juris Doctor degree in 2015. Throughout his time at Cal Western, Mike consistently made the Dean’s list and received academic achievement awards in Trademark Law and Entertainment Law. His dedication to community service earned him induction into the Pro Bono Honor’s Society for his volunteer work at a local legal clinic.

Admitted to the California Bar in 2015, Mike embarked on his legal career as an associate at what was then called Trovillion, Inveiss & Demakis. His dedication to his clients and tireless advocacy on their behalf quickly distinguished him, leading to his elevation to named partner in March 2023, a testament to his leadership and dedication within the firm.

Outside of his legal practice, Mike is an ardent supporter of San Diego's sports teams, particularly the Padres. His deep-rooted connection to his hometown and commitment to excellence in law and community service define his professional and personal endeavors. His goal is to leave San Diego a better place for his young son and daughter.
