Ms. Aaron-Jacobi received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988 from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, majoring in business administration. Thereafter, she attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she was a member of law review, receiving her J.D. degree in 1993. Kristine was admitted to practice before the State Bar of California the same year and is also admitted to the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the District Court, Southern District of California.
Having practiced in the field of workers’ compensation since 1993, Kristine has extensive experience aggressively defending workers’ compensation claims as well as handling Labor Code section 132(a) and Serious and Willful Misconduct issues for insurance carriers, third-party administrators and self-insured employers. She has provided training to employers and claims personnel on all California state workers’ compensation related issues. Kristine has also practiced in Disability Retirement Litigation (CERL of 1937).
Kristine grew up in the mid-West in a small town in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She spent her childhood weekends camping, hiking and fishing. Kristine enjoys spending her weekends with her rescue dog at one of the San Diego beaches or parks. Kristine is a sports enthusiast and especially enjoys college football and basketball. You will find her in the in the Summer at a Padres baseball game. Kristine’s other interests include traveling, cooking and entertaining. Her travels have included trips to South East Asia, South America, Africa and Europe.
