Mr. Trovillion received his Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications from San Diego State University in 1979. He received his Juris Doctorate from Western State University College of Law and was admitted to the California State Bar in 1984.
Mr. Trovillion represented injured workers from 1984 to 1987 with the law firm of Rose, Klein and Marias in Santa Ana and San Diego. His responsibilities included appearances before the WCAB, Department of Labor, PERS and the Social Security Administration.
In 1987, Mr. Trovillion became associated with his present law firm, of which he is now a partner. He currently defends workers’ compensation claims before the WCAB throughout Southern California with an emphasis in defending cities from claims brought by police and firefighters.
From 1991 to the present, Mr. Trovillion has been a California Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law.
Mr. Trovillion has served as an instructor for the Insurance Educational Association from 1988 to the present. He has taught Case Law and California Labor Code educating over 1,500 insurance professionals.
Mr. Trovillion has been awarded a peer review AV Preeminent Rating from LexisNexis and Martindale Hubbell.
Mr. Trovillion has been named a Top Lawyer in San Diego Magazine in workers’ compensation law.
