About Debra Harkness
A So Cal native, Debra received her Bachelor’s degree at UC San Diego, her MBA from Cal State Northridge, and her Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School. Since being admitted to the California State Bar in 2002, Debra has practiced in the area of workers’ compensation defense, representing insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers in all aspects of workers’ compensation. Debra, a recent new grandmother, enjoys traveling and had an opportunity to travel to Cuba in February 2016. In her free time, she enjoys watching football and crocheting afghans for babies. About Jon Shetler
Jon, a former partner of a statewide workers’ compensation defense firm, received his Bachelor’s degree from Loma Linda University, his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2002. Since that time, he has practiced in the field of workers’ compensation defense. Jon, a San Diego native, obtained a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Loma Linda University prior to attending law school. He worked for 10 years as a Rehab Director for a chain of facilities in the San Diego area. Jon is married with three kids and enjoys coaching high school volleyball and off-road racing.
